I most certainly did not sneak my kids into bed with me this weekend with a movie playing (while trying to battle strep), in an attempt to not have to babysit. Nope, I never use TV as a babysitter!
I did NOT go 4 days without a shower. Ewwww!
I did NOT put a freshwater feeder fish into a tapwater pond for Loudoun's frog. And no, it did not kill him. He jumped out.
I did NOT block my kids from seeing the "kid" shopping cart in Home Depot as we passed it midway through shopping, just so I wouldn't have to transfer all of our items and kids.
I also did not let my kids play in my car for an hour while my husband and I tried to hang mini-blinds in our garage, so that we didn't have to entertain them. Nope! whoever heard of there being things in a car that would entertain a kid? There are no such things!
Finally, I did not press talk and instantly hand the phone over to my kids when my MIL called this afternoon. I never feel anti-social when people call, and always love to talk to everyone!

Handing the phone off to my son is totally something I would never ever do! Hahaha! I am not a fan of talking on the phone, especially with my MIL :)

Shower? Who showers? And the MIL thing is classic. I hide upstairs sometimes during ichats. It's my alone time. :-) Great post!
