3 weeks of practice runs at school, plus yesterday's 1.2 miles, added up to a marathon.
And Loudoun did it so well.
He was so excited for the big day to finally arrive.
And if you measured the day by how many people showed up, then this day was HUGE!
We got there early. We woke up even earlier.
We were all groggy.
I grabbed coffee. The kids ate bananas. Rick was just tough.

And then we waited for all the kids to run in their different groups. Avalon had a great seat. Rick and I could barely see.

| blue and white striped beanie, right in the middle. Can you see him? No? Rick and I got flustered with each other, trying to find our kid. Luckily, we found him. So, we're still married. |

Torturous parents. ;) Poor Avalon. (giggle)
ReplyDeleteSo glad Loudoun enjoyed himself and did well. I remember doing them as a kid and I loved the whole process.
