Learning better ways to trick my kids

Crockpot steel-cut oatmeal cooked overnight,
turned into a breakfast BOTH of my kids actually ate.

See:
add good toppings to entice them.

Kid-worthy toppings required a trip to the supermarket, because we were fresh out of marshmallows and chocolate chips, but we did have blueberries, bananas, dried cranberries, honey, maple syrup and cinnamon-sugar.

And with the rain today, it was perfect to wake up to a warm bowl of oatmeal all ready for us!
Have a nice weekend, everyone.

  2. Oh, I almost forgot the main reason I came to visit! I saw on Jill's post that you are going to give to a family in need and I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love people that make a difference : )
